This guy was kicking up a ton of coal dust at he attacked the crossover at a pretty good clip, I even got some coal dust in my face and in my eyes! This would be the last train we would see until almost 5:00 PM. Still, 6 trains in 2 hours, not bad! |

Right now, all is quiet, but that will change. About 25-30 minutes after this picture was taken, the gates came down at Lightfoot Road. The silence will be broken by a K5LAR24 air horn blaring for the crossing and the sound of two heavy diesels rapidly approaching me at 40 miles per hour. |
