Album Info:Some photos from Ivor, Virginia of my November 16, 2008 trip. I saw 10 trains, certainly not bad for a Sunday. This album includes rare stuff that you don't see often on this line. Enjoy!

Description:  NS 234 approaching Ivor with an SD70M-2 and an ex-Conrail UNPATCHED SD70 Spartan Cab! This guy ROARED past me with an awesome doppler effect on the K5LLA! If only I had taken the time to adjust the ISO and shutter speed, but hey, let's face it, we all mess up sometimes!

Description:  An NS passenger special with a 5600-series rebuild and an ex-Southern high hood SD40-2 roll through Ivor! I've never seen a passenger train on this line! The horn sounded strange, I'm thinking that it was a Nathan K3LA. It sounded like a UP or BNSF unit.

Description:  A rare high-wide move with a single Catfish, some weird blue thing in the middle, and a red caboose head west. NS was beginning to scare me by this point, this was the third rare train in a row!
